MFEC uses imagination to deliver innovative engineering solutions to their clients. This unique approach to engineering has been the mission since conception of the company in 1988. They provided mechanical and electrical engineering services to clients located all across the United States. The company started in 1988 with an office in Springfield, Missouri. The firm started with fifteen employees with thirty percent of the staff as drafting. In 1989, Cad systems were introduced and MFEC started a new concept for engineering firms with the elimination of draftspersons. The engineering staff took over the full design and drafting of projects. This model has held true today for MFEC and has allowed them to remain at the top of the industry in profitability and efficiency. Other companies look to MFEC for leadership in this facett of the industry. In 1998, long-time employees Jon Eckhardt and Cameron Collins joined Malone and Finkle as partners and the firm became Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins. In April 2005, Terry Maskil joined Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins as a partner and manages the Overland Park, Kansas office. In April 2007, Jennifer Luce and Mike Thome joined the company as partners. With the passing of founder, Mark Malone, MFEC has continued to grow and is committed to excellence. Expansion of the Kansas City office has continued and has increased in size over 300% in the last two years. MFEC currently has 27 engineers in two offices. The main office is in Springfield, Missouri with a branch office in Overland Park, Kansas. While there have been changes throughout the years, the firm’s mission has stayed the same: provide clients with a vision, using our imagination and expertise. Rod L. Finkle, President
