12.12.2010For the Holidays, MFEC employees recently made donations to the Ozarks Regional YMCA, Christian County Domestic Violence Center, the Ambassadors for Children in Springfield and to the M Malone Scholarship Fund.
New Board Member for ALS Association
12.11.2010Please join MFEC in recognizing Suzie Apel, Business Development and Marketing Manager for being appointed as a board member to the ALS Association – Keith Worthington Chapter. Suzie contacted the chapter to volunteer and help raise awareness for ALS after her father was diagnosed with the disease. Suzie has always been passionate about helping others and this organization will only benefit from her enthusiasm and commitment. Thank you Suzie for being a leader in the community where you live, work and play!
Congratulations to New P.E.s
12.10.2010Four employees at MFEC recently took the P.E. exam and became Licensed Professional Engineers. Congratulations Naomi Fisher, Liz Hargrave, Tanner Dowling and Brad Palmer.
Volunteer Work – Rotary Club of Kansas City
12.01.2010Mike Thome, Vice President and Suzie Apel, Business Development and Marketing Manager recently volunteered through the Rotary Club of Kansas City and handed out over 70 dictionaries to 3rd graders in a Kansas City, Missouri inner city school. While there they taught each student how to find words and how to use the dictionaries properly.
Bowling Team
11.13.2010MFEC recently sponsored a bowling team “Ten Pins Minus Six” for the annual NAWIC scholarship fundraiser. We helped NAWIC raise $2,385.00 which will assist with 2 or more scholarships next year.
